Beyonce shows us how to wear a ponytail and look absolutely awesome.  Her hair is styled straight and smooth and has lots of shine power.

Capture this look for yourself by first applying a styling cream to damp hair.  Use a blow dryer and a large round brush to dry the hair quickly.  Always point the blow dryer down the hair shaft and use the brush to nudge the layers down and under.

Next apply a heat protecting cream to the hair and run a flat iron over the layers from the roots to the ends.  Add shine drops or serum to the hair after you are finished to get that extra shiny look.

Next, you can add a little height in the crown area by gently backcombing small sections of hair and smoothing over the top with your fingers.  Gather all hair and secure in a high ponytail.
